    The latest system firmware update includes the newest integrated graphics driver, which resolves the issue of the internal screen not working when connecting to the GPD G1.

    (New) Pocket 4 Resolution Correction 01/18/2025

    Download and unzip, right-click on GPD-P4-LCD_resolution.bat and select “Run as administrator.” 

    This resolution patch adds more resolutions and resolves the issue where only three resolutions can be displayed under Windows 11 after users install the original Microsoft image.

    （New）Pocket 4 Keyboard Firmware Update   01/16/2025

    Upgrade Instructions:

     

    The firmware update for the Pocket 4 keyboard adds a keyboard backlight feature, allowing for three states: Off ——> On for 30 seconds and then automatically off ——> Always On. The switch is done using the Fn + Spacebar key combination. When the system is first entered, the keyboard backlight is in the “On for 30 seconds and automatically off” state. Pressing the key combination once switches it to Always On, and pressing it again switches it to Off.

    （New）Ubuntu MATE for GPD Pocket 3 (1195G7)

    Configuration changes for the GPD Pocket 3 include:

     

    1. Enable frame buffer and Xorg display rotation.
    2. Accelerometer support for automatic screen rotation.
    3. Also automatically rotates touch screen and stylus (draw and erase)
    4. Enable fractional scaling by default, Results in an effective resolution of ~1920x1200 to make the display panels easily readable.
    5. Simple to toggle on/off via the Display Scaler app if you want to restore full resolution.
    6. Enable audio via the HDaudio legacy driver.
    7. Suspend is implemented via s2idle
    8. A temporary workaround until S3 sleep state is supported via the kernel.
    9. Enable scroll wheel emulation while holding down the centre trackpad button.
    10. Enable Tear-Free rendering by default.
    11. Enable double size console (tty) font resolution.
    12. Sadly, no support for the fingerprint reader. AFAIK only USB fingerprint readers are supported in Linux.
